Our Mission
It is our
intention to contribute to and support the wellness of our
community through direct assistance and education. |

Our
Services
Assistance:
assisting the severely ill and their families to cope with
their situation by providing knowledge as well as emotional
and financial support |
| |
|
Helping the newly diagnosed
with obtaining second and third opinions, evaluating their
options about their course of treatment and choice of
doctors and healthcare facilities
Investigate and refer to the available trials within the
research centers, universities and medical centers
Assistance in dealing with the insurance companies
Assisting patients navigate the maze of state and
nonprofit sources of financial support
Fundraising and negotiating with local health providers
for pro bono care
Providing temporary homecare for those not eligible to
receive this benefit through the state
Providing emotional support for the severely ill and their
families to cope with the stress and trauma of disease
through coaching

Education:
prevention of disease within our community through raising
awareness of healthy lifestyles, early detection/screenings,
early treatment and advances in medicine |
